HOTPOT paints a cold vision of the future in which creativity and emotions no longer have a place and work dominates people’s lives. Away from the compliant society, there are rebels who have retreated underground to preserve the beautiful things in life. In a futuristic soup kitchen hidden beneath the street, a street musician plays a tune for a meal, unaware that state power is nearby.
